Legal notices

Nature of the site

NamePump is an internal research tool. It carries no commercial offer: no goods are sold, no services are brokered, no advice is given for a fee. Its outputs — appraisals, generated names, market commentary — are working notes from a naming doctrine, not legal, financial, or professional advice.

No trademark opinion

An appraisal is not a trademark clearance or an availability guarantee. Trademark and domain availability are separate questions answered at the relevant registry and offices, and the legal gate described on this site is a separate knockout path. Nothing here invites reliance for a legal or commercial decision, and no professional relationship is created by using it.

Indexing

The desk, the doctrine and the market pages are public and indexable, and are listed in sitemap.xml. The workspace, sign-in and sign-up emit noindex, nofollow, noarchive and are excluded from the sitemap: they hold no content a visitor could read without an account.

First-party measurement, no third-party tracking

The desk sets no analytics or tracking cookie and loads no third-party script. To know which pages and actions are used, it keeps its own counts in its own database: the event name, the page path, and — for API calls — the response status and duration. The browser also sends a random identifier for the current page load, so a visit can be followed through the site; it is not a cookie, is not written to browser storage, and disappears when the page is closed. No IP address and no search query, appraisal target, or form input is written to the events table. Form input — contact and newsletter — is acknowledged locally and never transmitted anywhere. These positions are restated in the privacy and cookie policies.

Accuracy and sources

Market figures and doctrine are quoted from the desk's own working context and cited sources. They reflect the desk's internal reasoning at the time of writing and may age; availability and market facts are snapshots, not promises.

Third-party marks

Company and product names referenced in the doctrine's examples (ByteDance, SpaceX, Pinterest and others) are the marks of their respective owners, cited as illustrative benchmarks only. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Governing documents

These notices sit alongside the terms, privacy, and cookie policy, which together form the complete statement of how this site operates. Questions go to the project on GitLab.
